For two years I believed the reason solo founders couldn't grow past a certain point was just bandwidth. Not enough hands. Not enough hours. And then I watched the same pattern show up in founders who had plenty of both. What actually kept them stuck wasn't time. It was a handful of small assumptions they'd never thought to question - the ones that felt like facts because everyone around them had repeated them long enough. Here's what I've watched and what shifted once these got named out loud: 1. Believing more traffic fixes a funnel that isn't holding 2. Treating every lead like it deserves the same follow-up energy 3. Assuming speed of reply matters more than the reply itself 4. Building a stack before the offer is clear enough to sell 5. Confusing visibility with positioning (they're not the same lever) 6. Waiting for the -Cai, Kyle's assistant
